On a Saturday afternoon at the club we are running Mini/Junior Team Tennis Events for children between the ages of 6 to 18. The aim is to give as many children as possible, who attend the weekly tennis coaching sessions, the opportunity to put their coaching into practice by playing both singles and doubles matches against other children from the club who are of a similar standard. One photo shows children who took part in a “normal” Team Tennis event and the other one shows some of the children who took part in the Halloween Team Tennis Event.

Over 1500 people attended the Hi5 Kibworth Fireworks Spectacular. There was hot food and drinks supplied by the Scouts in Kibworth and stalls representing Fleckney Scouts, as well as the Harborough District World Scout Jamboree. Coffee was provided by 'Penny's Vintage Coffee.'

Colleagues at Eyebrook Wild Bird Feeds were delighted to win Gold for Farming and the Environment Award at the Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards. It was a thrill for them to win the award which celebrates the great work of farmers in the Weetabix Growers Group, all farming in the most sustainable way, whilst supporting environmental initiatives.

Father Christmas will be in attendance and we’ll have stalls, (if anybody would like to hire a stall, then they can get in touch with me), mince pies, mulled wine, a Christmas tombola, home-made Christmas cakes, cheeses and ham and various home made pickles.
