Creativity During Lockdown

At the bottom of Tin Bridge lies the Kibworth Covid 19 snake. His snakeskin is more colourful than that of natural snakes because he consists of hundreds of hand painted stones. A great deal of creativity and enjoyment has gone in to making him which made us wonder what other creative items are being produced in our distribution area.

Kibworth Art Lovers’ Society Covid-19 Update

Under normal circumstances at this time of year we would have been preparing for our Annual Exhibition. In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, it was decided reluctantly to cancel this year’s show. However, it will give members time to prepare more artworks for display when we hold our next exhibition. In the meantime, the painting by Pat Porteous from a previous exhibition will surely whet our appetites for the future.

Local Church News for July

As of 1st July, St Wilfrid’s is now open for private prayer from 10.00 till 11.00am every day, except Saturdays. Christ Church, Smeeton Westerby is also open for private prayer from 10am til 4pm on Wednesdays and Sundays.
