University Hospital Leicester (UHL) Royals July 2023 arranged the NHS t20 Cancer Charity Tournament at Illston Cricket Club on a glorious sunny summer’s day.

During the summer months, The Well will continue to offer support to residents of Kibworth and surrounding villages through our free advice drop-ins and food bank.  And of course, our café and pre-loved clothes shop will be open as usual.

The vision of The Well is of local people seeking to create community through welcome, hospitality, care and prayer.

Sadly, Smeeton Open Gardens will not go ahead this year as we haven’t had enough gardens to show. A big ‘thank you’ goes to the gardeners who had volunteered. Perhaps Smeeton is wanting a rest from this so we will try again next year.

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding a coffee morning and table top sale on Saturday 8 July in Kibworth Village Hall LE8 0LN from 10am to 12:45pm.

Leicester Grammar School kindly offered one of their concerts to the Kibworth & Fleckney Rotary Club to raise funds for Rainbows Children’s Hospice. The concert took place in the school’s St Nicholas Hall in Great Glen on Friday 28 April.
