Canal cuttings

19th December 2022 | Community

We managed to get through the very dry season without any further restrictions on movement through the locks, unlike canals in other parts of the country (most of them have re-opened now) although it was a close thing. News from Smeeton Westerby

19th December 2022 | What's On

Following on from the success of our concert in October, we were very excited to hand over £1,000 to each of our chosen charities for the event – COPS (Care of Police Survivors) and GEMS. Both Peter Fahy and Tim Buckley from COPS were absolutely  made up and chuffed to bits! Amazing – you put the fun into fundraising!”
