Tribute to Dawn Pauline Hubbard
13/9/1950 – 11/10/2022
Dawn was born in Stamford Hospital, Lincolnshire on 13 September 1950. She was the eldest of five siblings: Steven, Judy, Julian and Terry. Dawn grew up in Kibworth attending the local school and Hanbury High School in Church Langton. This was her favourite school – never missing a day! She also attended Sunday School.
Dawn looked forward to the summer holidays which she spent with her beloved grandma Hilda who lived in Rutland and seeing her best friend Megan.
Dawn’s first job was working as a kennel maid in Great Glen. She loved all animals and birds especially the robin.
She lived at Stonesby Lodge in Leicester for the last 10 years and whilst living there she worked as a volunteer, doing arts and craft, dressmaking and walking out with the staff.
Dawn sadly passed away peacefully on 11th October aged 72. She will be sadly missed by all the staff and residents at the home and very sadly missed by her close family, friends and all that knew her.
