It’s that time of year when people are thinking about trying new sports, so we at Fleckney would be very keen to hear from you if you think cricket might be your game of choice. We have an offer for ANYONE between the ages of 5 and 85.

Here at Kibworth Creatives Choir HQ we have been discussing how great our first rehearsal of the year was! The buzz of coming back together after the Christmas break was brilliant.

During December we ran a Christmas hat/outfit competition for the children who attend the weekly coaching sessions. There was a great response, particularly from the younger children.

We always like the start of the year. It means we can start our countdown to the new season. Lots of things are happening to get things ready for our new cricket season.

With the shortest day behind us it almost feels like the worst of winter is behind us too.

It was with considerable regret that we cancelled our Christmas Concert. The decision was made in view of the Covid situation and the likely age range of the audience. Hopefully 2022 will allow us to put on a summer concert.

Many of us want to do our bit to help tackle the climate crisis.  However the scale of the task can seem daunting. Fortunately lots of people making small changes in their everyday lives can have a cumulative impact.

We amalgamated this with our Christmas party. As a change and because it was a special occasion, we ‘bought in’ our supper from a company in Market Harborough.
