Spirit at Play is a Horse Therapy charity. They offer opportunities to children and adults with learning disabilities, mental ill health and physical disabilities to improve their wellbeing by having calming interaction with horses in a safe and welcoming environment. This helps develop their self -confidence and develop vital life skills.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who's been cheered by the pink and red shiny hearts hanging on the trees outside the Co-op in the village. This is such a simple gesture, but one that brings colour and hope to the day. After an exceptionally busy January, returning from Christmas straight into Lockdown, February has started at The Well Next Door with several new developments.

During 2020 most of our patients didn't travel very far. Some took up new hobbies during lockdown. Others started new fitness regimes.So when we were approached by one of our patients with an unexpected request during a most unusual year, we did our best to help. We were helping a rowing team to "see at sea!"

On a positive note this young lady, Flo,is still looking after and enjoying her garden well into her 90th year.
