You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one” – John Lennon

Signs of Spring.

We must all be dreaming of warmer, sunnier, longer days. February can be the hardest month, but there are already signs of spring. Snowdrops are poking through the frozen earth, the sun is rising earlier and setting later, and there is definitely the sound of more bird song.

Library Jokes.

Meanwhile, here are some jokes, from me at Kibworth Community Library to bring a smile (or groan) into your life.

A man walks into a library and asks for a book on finding Bigfoot. The librarian directs him to the large print section.

I have been reading a book on anti-gravity. I just cannot put it down.

Why did the elephant use his trunk as a bookmark? So he nose where he finished reading.

Why did Shakespeare write with ink? Because he couldn’t decide which pencil to use, 2B or not 2B?

Apologies!

Lots of donated books.

But don’t forget that we still have lots of our donated books left, if you are interested in receiving some them please email us your telephone number to info@kibworthcommunitylibrary.org.uk with “Books please!” as the subject matter. We will then call you to see if we have any books you are interested in, and arrange to deliver them.

So, please get in contact with us, and we’ll do what we can to keep you in reading material to get you through to the warmer weather.
