During 2020 most of our patients didn't travel very far. Some took up new hobbies during lockdown. Others started new fitness regimes.So when we were approached by one of our patients with an unexpected request during a most unusual year, we did our best to help. We were helping a rowing team to "see at sea!"

On a positive note this young lady, Flo,is still looking after and enjoying her garden well into her 90th year.

While The Well sadly is closed to visitors during lockdown, the Foodbank is continuing to support families in Kibworth and surrounding villages. we would like to use this column to sa a huge thank youth our wonderful local community for you generosity and ongoing support!

This winter will be the hardest that older people have experienced in recent years. They will face the annual struggle with the hardship and loneliness of colder, darker winter months but this year they are also coping with fear, distress and uncertainty brought by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Local charities are desperate for funds during this pandemic.
