

KGSH held its AGM on the 16 March. The chairman, Martyn Wyburn reported on a difficult year for the hall, mostly due to the situation with Covid 19. This caused us to close for the first four months of 2021.

The Leicestershire Summer League matches will be starting after the Easter Holidays for both children and adults. There are four men’s teams, three ladies teams, three mixed teams and five mini/junior teams taking part. The adults are currently having their weekly matchplay sessions and the children have their weekly tennis coaching sessions along with the Team Tennis events to get ready for the new season. Let’s hope it is a successful season for the club!
There has been a group meeting to share our interests in embroidery and textiles for over 50 years, celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2018 with an exhibition at Newarke Houses Museum.
