Thursday 2 March at the Methodist Chapel Hall, Great Glen.

Our first meeting of the year was testing the ‘little grey cells’ of members of Illston on the Hill WI. We all enjoyed a quiz, some music, current affairs, musicals, sorting out first letters of villages, tv programmes, flowers and much more.

The England Golf Awards celebrate all that’s great about the game we love – from volunteers to elite performers, juniors to lifetime achievers.

Rehearsals are continuing apace for both of our productions, below is an update.

Four Extinction Rebellion members who came to Harborough at the end of January outside Barclay’s bank ,"gathered outside the High Street branch, placing stickers on the front windows suggesting people smash them if there is a climate emergency”. From Harborough FM News online

Snow White - & her Seven Dwarfs - are now enjoying life in her Prince’s Castle. I know they will live happily for ever after. 

For the first two months of the year the main emphasis in the Band Room is the Area Contest. This Contest takes place in Corby on 25th February.

In 2019, Waitrose introduced their ‘Loved and Found’ range focusing on lesser known grape varieties and regions. I can’t help calling it ‘Lost and Found’.

We’re a mixed Community Choir based in Foxton. Whether you’ve been in a choir before or you’re completely new to the idea you’d be most welcome. So why not give us a try?
