A group of 25 Kibworth Rambling Group members visited Dolserau meaning ‘Meadow of the stars’ Hall near Dolgellau. Set in the rolling green Welsh countryside, it was a perfect base for our four-night autumn walking holiday. A series of eight organised walks over various distances included, for the adventurous, an ascent of 2930 ft (893m) Cadair Idris.

A Busy Summer at the Club!

During the summer holidays tennis sessions took place at the club for children aged from three to seventeen. It was a great opportunity for some children to try tennis for the first time and for other children to continue playing during the summer holidays. Over 150 children attended the sessions so it was a busy time for Mati and his coaching team!

Mothers' Union Reminiscing

Although we often have invited speakers to present talks on specific topics, our most recent MU meeting in the church hall on Thursday 1 September followed our usual church service. However, on this particular occasion over a cup of tea and biscuits, we had a wonderful time of spontaneous fellowship and heartfelt sharing of experiences, with the opportunity to recall some important memories from events in our lives.

Kibworth Bowls Club - September '22

19th September 2022 | Clubs and Societies, Sport, What's On

The 2022 summer outdoor bowling season has been a successful one. Successes included winning the Wistow Vase - our annual local derby competition against Hart of Fleckney Bowls Club, and the Springer Cup where we beat Little Bowden in the final. We also won Division 3 of the South Leicestershire Triples League and have been promoted to Division 2 for the start of next year.
