After nearly 3 months of being in lockdown tennis is back at the Kibworth Tennis Club on from 29th March. This includes all of the weekly group coaching sessions, team matches and social play. It will be interesting to see how rusty everybody will be after such a long break.

The Grammar School Hall remains closed at this time due to the Covid situation. However we are hopeful of a re-opening as soon as the government gives us the go ahead. Kelly, our hall officer, has already contacted our regular users to discuss their potential needs and we aim to hit the ground running.

The woods at the side of St.Helen's Church in Gumley have a few surprises in store. If you follow the yellow post footpath, accessed from Gumley Road and also from next to the church, through the middle of the woods, you'll be sure of a "Big Surprise".

Some years ago I visited the Victoria & Albert museum in London with my brother Neil. He was there in his capacity as archivist for the Philips family. They reside at ‘The Heath House,’ Team in Staffordshire. The aim of the visit was to research certain facets of Victorian décor.

During the lockdown the coaches of the Under 10s at Kibworth Football Club wanted to do something to help the boys stay active, and do something positive for a couple of local charities, (Rainbows and LOROS), through this difficult time for them.
