This year’s service will combine both outdoor and indoor elements. The parade will arrive outside St Wilfrid’s Church at approximately 10.40am. Wreaths will be laid on the war memorial and the names of the fallen will be read. A shortened service will then take place inside the church, beginning at approximately 10.50am.

For those of you regularly using the Village Hall, you may have noticed a number of improvements.

Many of you will have noticed that the Church Clocks are working again. Over the last couple of years, due to COVID and funding challenges, it hasn’t been easy to get the Clocks succesfully repaired.

Monday 10 October was an amazing day for me this year. Not only was it World Mental Health Day which I wholeheartedly support, but it was the launch day for a very special book, ‘Beautifully Broken'. Featuring the real life stories of sixteen courageous women all of whom have looked adversity in the face, overcome it and are rebuilding their lives.
