In the last two years Kibworth & Fleckney Rotary Club has raised awareness of those living with dementia.

Just as we were  looking into the possibility of having some social distanced small group band rehearsals, the current lockdown restrictions were introduced effectively putting paid to these plans.

With winter weather and lockdown-2 upon us we are meeting once again over Zoom. It seems so normal and relaxed now after so many months of running weekly meetings that way.

Harborough District Council is delighted to announce that the Leicester Comedy Festival BIG Weekend is returning to the Harborough District in February 2021, albeit with a slightly different feel to previous years due to the impact of Covid-19.

It is with heavy heart we have taken the decision to cancel the 2021 pantomime!

It’s farewell to cricket after the strangest of seasons and it is absolutely appropriate to say a huge thank you to all of our players, coaches, ground staff, cleaners, bar staff, volunteers, committee members, members, sponsors and parents.

No stranger to long-distance fell running, Sam Pole has undertaken his biggest challenge yet, tackling the 268 miles of the Pennine Way.

 In common with most organisations, we have no meetings and fewer activities to write about, so we thought we would share some of the humour contained in our WI’s Yearbook record of life during the pandemic.

 Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all of the major board honours and regular annual trophy competitions at the club were cancelled for the year.

It may not be known to many but The Kibworth Theatre Group were busy working behind the scenes to bring us their version of ‘The Vicar of Dibley’ earlier this year.
