I have supported Refuge, a charity supporting women and children who are survivors of domestic abuse since 1982 when I was a social work student and worked in a Women's Aid Refuge.

You would think that optical professionals are the last group of people wanting to get mud in their eyes! But, at the end of June, Amy Coleburne and Mark Nevey of Leicestershire based opticians, Edmonds & Slatter set themselves the challenge of completing the notoriously muddy Wolf Run.

Well, he’s done it again, Jeff Pearce organised a charity event in June at The Old Crown in memory of local Fleckney man Mic. It was a great day full of fun, music, fundraising and everything you’d expect from one of Jeff’s events.

'Come Together' - A Harvest Service with Something for Everyone!

VASL Car Scheme has been operating since 1987 in Market Harborough and covers 2/3 of Harborough District. The scheme is for anyone who is elderly, disabled, rurally isolated, has no transport of their own or has difficulty accessing public transport.
