Fleckney and Kibworth Running Club is offering a nine week ‘Couch to 5k’ course.

Cross Counties Healthcare PCN have been working closely with The Well for the last two years. Our relationship started at the beginning of the first lockdown when many of the vulnerable patients registered at the local GP practices were struggling with issues such as loneliness, isolation, needing help with accessing food, fetching shopping, prescriptions etc. 

Christmas Eve Crib Service

It was with considerable regret that we cancelled our Christmas Concert. The decision was made in view of the Covid situation and the likely age range of the audience. Hopefully 2022 will allow us to put on a summer concert.

It’s been another fruitful month for the club with three new members joining us (thank you, Kibworth Chronicle.) Club members continue to enjoy the club nights as well as regular open sessions on Thursday mornings from 9.30-11am at Fleckney Sports Centre (18 years and over).

The parish council does not hold a public meeting in December as the fourth Tuesday falls within the Christmas period. However, the parish council staff, councillors and volunteers have been very active since November on parish council funded business.

Many of us want to do our bit to help tackle the climate crisis.  However the scale of the task can seem daunting. Fortunately lots of people making small changes in their everyday lives can have a cumulative impact.

We amalgamated this with our Christmas party. As a change and because it was a special occasion, we ‘bought in’ our supper from a company in Market Harborough.

Market Harborough’s very own orchestra, is preparing to give its 22^nd concert under the baton of Stephen Bell on Saturday 29 January at 7.30pm at the Methodist Church, Northampton Road, Market Harborough.
