Great Glen artist, Ray Riley, visited the Kibworth Art Lovers’ May meeting to demonstrate the popular Bob Ross ‘Wet-on-Wet’ technique of painting with oils. Having become fascinated by this technique through watching Bob Ross on television, Ray developed his love of painting by attending workshops to learn this method for himself.

Jane Laffan started suffering from irritated skin and was not enjoying her shower creams and soaps. She decided to investigate the ingredients of the lotions and was horrified to see how many undesirable products were contained therein. She decided action must be taken.

We have just had a fantastic three day camping expedition near Cannock. Fifty children camped with all the other scout groups from Harborough district (over 600 children in total). They enjoyed an amazing selection of outdoor activities. These were rock climbing, abseiling, crate stacking, clay pigeon shooting, axe throwing, go carting, kayaking, campfires...the list was unbelievable and it was brilliant fun.
