Colleagues at Eyebrook Wild Bird Feeds were delighted to win Gold for Farming and the Environment Award at the Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards. It was a thrill for them to win the award which celebrates the great work of farmers in the Weetabix Growers Group, all farming in the most sustainable way, whilst supporting environmental initiatives.

A Christmas Fair - Gaulby

A Christmas Fair in Gaulby Church on Sunday 11 December from 4pm. Father Christmas will be in attendance and we’ll have stalls, (if anybody would like to hire a stall, then they can get in touch with me), mince pies, mulled wine, a Christmas tombola, home-made Christmas cakes, cheeses and ham and various home made pickles. All very welcome.

HELP SAVE OUR CHURCH at Kings Norton

Perhaps the most beautiful church in the Midlands region, and one of the finest parish churches in the whole of the England. This Gothic Revival Church is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. It was started in 1760 and completed in 1761 by John Wing the Younger of Leicester.

Sculpture to be formally unveiled on Armistice Day

Leicester Tigers Foundation, “When we were Tigers” Monument located at Leicester Tigers Stadium, Welford Road Plaza, is to be formally unveiled by Peter Wheeler, DL on 11 November - Armistice Day. The unveiling will commence at 10.30am. The monument commemorates and celebrates the 54 Leicester Tigers rugby players who lost their lives as a consequence of war.
