The New Year is well underway and the Langton Community Hall is ready to welcome old and new users!

We have been pleased to welcome some new members to our club from Kibworth and surrounding areas.

Kibworth Bowling Club members have enjoyed indoor carpet bowls over the winter months.

At our meeting on Tuesday 15 February Kilby WI welcomed Gill Mouncer from the Royal Scottish County Dancing Society.

I was interested in reaction to my attempt in the February issue, at offering a litany of Kibworth Plans. TWENTY YEARS OF THEM - and to what purpose or whose benefit?

Our next Coffee Morning and Table Top Sale in aid of the Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be held on:

“My Arctic Adventure with Huskies”, a talk by Matthew Hopkinson, had us enthralled at our February meeting.

Doreen was Kibworth born and bred, she was the youngest of 6 children. She attended Church Langton School then working at Johnson & Barnes, then on to Gents, Kibworth and Leicester.

Plans are well underway for the opening of our new Deli and Homewares Store, Cheese & Pickle, at Pennbury Farm in Great Glen.
