“Osteopathy isn‘t for me’'

Noeleen McCluskey thanks everyone for the many cards and messages of condolence and help received on the death of her beloved husband, Michael, on 2 December. Also for the attendance of so many at the funeral. He is very much missed.

KMA students have had an incredibly positive start to 2023. Collectively they have achieved nearly 31,000 reward points in January. This represents a colossal 36 times, on average, since the start of term where each student has been celebrated for upholding our values of ‘Work Hard, Be Kind, Be Proud’.

Students from a local primary school are kitted out to play sports in style, thanks to a donation from a Leicestershire-based housebuilder.

The Bishop of Leicester is planning to use the weekends during Lent to make pilgrimages to many of the smaller churches in the Diocese. On Saturday 11 March he will be in Gartree Deanery, in the Chronicle’s locality, spending the day walking and praying at and in between different churches and communities. He will welcome companions to walk with him for all or part of the day or to meet him on the way to share in his time of prayer and walking.
