Home-Start South Leicestershire is, once again, looking for new volunteers. This is to join their friendly, supportive team which helps families with young children across Harborough District. Their annual eight-session preparation course began on Wednesday 15 April.

We hope you enjoyed your Easter. We’re updating you on our fundraising. Edd and Andrew have been supporting GEMS Charity at The Kings Head for three years, organising events and raising £4,488.69. Also Sam at The Railway Arms held a Virtual Race Day linked to the Grand National, raising £228 for GEMS Charity. A massive heartfelt thank you to Sam, Edd, Andrew and their staff and all their customers for their continued support.

We will be holding a table top sale on Saturday 11 April in Kibworth Village Hall, LE8 0LN. From 10am - 12.45. There will be a good variety of stalls including: craft stalls, handmade cards, jewellery, Tropic skin care products, knitted & crochet goods, jigsaws books, pre loved clothes, raffle, bric-a-brac and lots more.

After a fabulous concert last November, followed by our usual Christmas events, we are very excited to share with you the total amount raised for our chosen charity, Rainbows Children's Hospice in Loughborough. We raised a total of £1,300 which the Hospice were absolutely thrilled with! Thank you to everyone who supported us!

Kibworth Mill will once again be opening for National Mills Weekend giving members of the public an opportunity to visit the oldest mill in Leicestershire on Saturday 9 May and Sunday 10 May. Volunteers will show people around inside and outside the mill, giving visitors the chance to see the inner workings and marks left by the millers over the last 400 years.
