Why not join the happy bunch of people that make up the Oadby Hillwalking Club on one of our many walks? A great way to keep fit, see beautiful countryside and make new friends. Our Club attracts all ages, whether studying, working or retired.

Osteopaths are trained to diagnose and treat injuries from head to toe in all ages; however the most common injury I see in the clinic is lower back (lumbar spine) injuries. This includes lower backs that may have been injured through sport, gardening, and accidents. For example, road traffic collisions or accidents at work. Or perhaps old injuries that grumble away but are becoming increasingly more problematic. As a result they are limiting activity. Lower back pain is miserable. It affects how much we can physically do, our confidence in being active, and can even cause sleep disruption.

The Kibworth Coyotes helped light up the streets of Leicester by taking part in the Shine Night Walk in October to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. Passing all the local landmarks en route, the team-mates, who all play for the village rounders squad, collectively raised over £1,000 for this worthy cause.

Christmas is fast approaching and so is our Christmas Fayre! It’s to be held on Saturday 27 November at 2 - 4.30pm in Smeeton Westerby Village Hall.

Antisocial behaviour (ASB) incidents have increased over the last three years. Police forces, councils and housing associations are reporting significant spikes in ASB cases. These are not minor incidents. Instead, they are complex and serious cases causing real harm to many people.
