Kibworth Golf Club Afternoon Tea for Jubilee
Afternoon Teas were served at the club for two weeks prior to the Platinum weekend. Out came the fine china and many of our members (and indeed lots of visitors) came and enjoyed it.
After reporting of the juniors’ successes last month, once again I am delighted to report that the first junior league match of the year has been played away at Leicestershire GC with the result being a very friendly half. Evan Fowler kept up his great run of results by coming second (he lost the win on countback) at a British Junior Golf Tour event too.
With the Vice Captain’s Day behind us and Captains’ Days to follow next month, the club continues to buzz. The course is looking wonderful and is the envy of many visiting golfers. Why not come and join us?
