Sometimes, as we rush about our daily lives, we stop noticing the beautiful countryside that surrounds us. Maybe we have some favourite, well-worn walks but lack the time and confidence to explore a new area and find out about its paths and villages and the stories they contain.

How can I reduce my carbon travel footprint?

On a fine Saturday in April forty-three members of the Kibworth Rambling Group headed to Kendal, Cumbria for our annual coach holiday.

Roll up, roll up! It’s your last chance to see our hilarious comedy ‘Allo ‘Allo which is being performed at Kibworth Grammar School Hall. 

In our April meeting, the Kibworth Art Lovers were treated to a new look at painting with pastels. Nuneaton based artist, Estelle Robinson, has 30 years of experience in painting portraits and she presented pastels as a forgiving and versatile medium.  She says, “With portraiture it’s all in the eyes of course, get those right then everything else seems to follow.”
