The Band have had a relatively quiet summer but are now back to full practices in preparation for a Proms-style concert at the Old Grammar School, Kibworth in September and the Leicestershire Brass Band Association (LBBA) contest at Loughborough in November.

We had some lovely summer meetings – with bowls, arts and crafts, and cheese and puddings! It was quite a mixture! This month, Wednesday 20 September, at the Kibworth Cricket Club, we hope to have a tutorial on how to take a better photo with your mobile phone. Some art and crafts will follow next month.

What's Going On?

The Kibworth Gas, Light and Coke Co. house (pictured) situated on New Road, (previously called Gasworks Hill) has been the subject of some discussion lately as there is currently a planning application with Harborough District Council planning department to demolish this building and replace it with four three-storey houses.
