This month we are announcing the launch of a new social games group. It is run by the Local Area Coordinator, Amy. The first session will take place on the 6 February. Thereafter it will be held on the first and third Tuesday of the month for a couple of hours. It’s a free, friendly group for anyone who would like to meet new people in a relaxed environment. Bring your favourite games to play with others. There’s no need to book, you can just turn up.

In a world constantly driven by boys’ football, there's a quiet revolution happening. It's the rising popularity of girls’ football at Kibworth Town Football Club.

I am sure most of you are aware that the famous 30-year-old Leicester Comedy Festival will be taking place in several venues in the Kibworth and District Chronicle area this year.

The Rotary Club of Kibworth & Fleckney are staging the Kibworth Comedy Club as part of the Leicester Comedy Festival Event 2024. It will be at the Kibworth Hub (formerly known as Kibworth Old Grammar School), Kibworth LE8 0JE, on Thursday 15 February, at 8pm. 

Rehearsals are well underway for our annual Pantomime - the rats are sharpening their teeth and Tommy the cat, his claws!

There is something irresistible about snowdrops. Their delicately nodding flowers lift our spirits and tell us spring is coming.
