Our annual Greenkeepers' Shield competition took place on 16 September. David Stevens, Neal Baxter and Chris Arrowsmith were the winning team and are shown in the photo receiving their trophy from John Ruddock (President).

A one-day seminar inspired by the Marriage Course will take place on Saturday 25 November, 9.30am - 4.30pm (Sandwich lunch provided) in St Wilfrid’s Church Hall, Kibworth.

Gaulby are holding their first Christmas Tree Festival and Fayre on the Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November, 11am - 4pm. The theme of the trees will be books. 

It's that time of year again, after our summer break to meet up for the autumn term and start fine tuning the songs for our forthcoming charity concert!

Cinema Nights 

There are some lovely autumn gardens to visit during September and October this year.

The Kibworth Art Lovers finished their 2022/23 programme in June with a presentation by artist Sue Clegg showing her amazing range of creative art.

As I’m writing this, it is unseasonably warm, even though the trees and our gardens are reminding us that autumn is upon us! 

Summer in Smeeton, like everywhere else, seemed to come and go but then, as I write this, be back in all its glory. Long may it last.
