Leicester Society of Artists is having its annual exhibition at the Leicester Museum  and Art Gallery on New Walk, Leicester from Saturday 14 February to Sunday 11 April.

The history of adoption in the UK shows an interesting journey. It highlights the evolution of societal attitudes, legal frameworks, and support systems surrounding the placement of adopted children in need of stable and loving homes.

Television as we know it is one hundred years old this month - January 2026. From grainy black-and-white to crystal clear 4K, TV has been on a journey over the last century.

After Christmas, I’d like to reflect on recent events in our village. We held a successful Christmas Fayre with lively chatter and laughter. The following Wednesday, Helen Benton, our village Pilates teacher, organised a well-attended ‘LOROS’ Coffee morning, raising another £500 for a deserving charity. This added to the £200 raised from CoCo mornings and £300 from the Christmas Fayre.

It is with great regret, we have to inform you that from 31 March 2026 the charity, Kibworth Grammar School Hall (also known as Kibworth Community Hub, charity number 1044822) will be dissolved and the lease handed back to Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council.
