We are re-opening our karate clubs at both Smeeton Westerby and Arnesby from Monday 12 April.

After nearly 3 months of being in lockdown tennis is back at the Kibworth Tennis Club on from 29th March. This includes all of the weekly group coaching sessions, team matches and social play. It will be interesting to see how rusty everybody will be after such a long break.

It's been a long winter so far with all the covid restrictions in place. But the Easy Riders have continued to thrive, with nearly all the riders battling the elements either solo, or in pairs rides out. Membership is growing rapidly, mainly as a result of our highly successful Xmas bike appeal which saw a great effort from our members resulting in over 70 local children benefiting from the donation of the restored bikes.. We learnt a lot from this scheme and already looking forward to doing it again next year. 

Well, at this time of year, we would ‘normally’ have just finished Panto and hopefully brightened a dull and dark January for our audiences. As we obviously can’t perform at present, we thought the following would lighten our way towards Spring!

We must all be dreaming of warmer, sunnier, longer days. February can be the hardest month, but there are already signs of spring. Snowdrops are poking through the frozen earth, the sun is rising earlier and setting later, and there is definitely the sound of more bird song.

As with everything at the moment, we here at Kibworth Cricket Club, are in a stop situation but fully hope our followers and members are all healthy and well.
