Kibworth - Advent Service at 4pm by candlelight, followed by refreshments. Join us for a traditional service that begins our preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

The ‘Churches Together’ Christmas card for 2021 has been lovingly created by Sebby Shelton. Sebby, aged nine, is a member of St Wilfrid’s Church, Kibworth. Sebby is a very keen artist and was delighted to be asked to design this year’s card; he also very aptly celebrates his birthday on Christmas Day! 

Would you like to sing with a friendly, non-judgemental all inclusive group? Join us singing for pleasure in Kibworth.

On Sunday 17 October St Wilfrid’s said a fond farewell to Janet Edwards, organist and choir trainer.

We are happy to once again offer a full schedule of services at our three churches; Kibworth, Saddington and Smeeton Westerby. You can find a service to suit your needs from Traditional Communion and Modern Worship through to our fun 'express' service for young families on the first Sunday of the month. 

The annual World Day of Prayer Service, Thursday 21 October, 10.30 – 11.30am, Kibworth Methodist Church, School Road. 

We are celebrating 25 years of fundraising, during which time the Friends have raised thousands of pounds for different projects for our lovely Church building. Our next fundraiser will be a Jazz Evening with The Fourmasons in St. Wilfrid’s Hall on Friday 26 November at 7.00 pm  Tickets £15 each (available from 1 October) to include supper. On moving to Hallaton in 2016 I was fascinated to hear from local historian, John Morison. We learned how a chapel dedicated to St Morrell had been rediscovered at the top of Hare Pie bank two years earlier.
