Our January meeting was a fine start to the new year, with Alison Orr leading us in a session of Laughter Yoga. From the moment Alison entered the hall and began to chat and laugh with members as they arrived, we sensed that we were in for an enjoyable evening.

Did your children love coming to Sparklers on Fridays? We had so much fun getting to know them and thought it would be great to reconnect. So we're starting a new Christian Youth Group in the Church Hall. The group is for young people who are turning 11 in year 6 up to age 14 years. This will take place once a month on a Sunday evening from 5:30-7:30pm. There will be food, probably pizza!

We know some parents can be curious as to how girls' schools work in practice. Are there more friendship issues? Girls more confident to study with boys when they leave for University? Are girls’ schools just old-fashioned finishing schools? I can reassure you at LHS the answers are No, Yes and most definitely No!

We’re a mixed Community Choir based in Foxton. Whether you’ve been in a choir before or you’re completely new to the idea you’d be most welcome. So why not give us a try?

The first monthly public meeting of 2023 was held on 5 January in the Studio at Kibworth Grammar School Hall.

In 2019, Waitrose introduced their ‘Loved and Found’ range focusing on lesser known grape varieties and regions. I can’t help calling it ‘Lost and Found’.

Our February meeting began with a service in Church followed by a get together in the Church Hall. The meeting was very well attended. After sharing news and notices members listened to a talk by Andy Wright, Operations Manager, The Well.

For the first two months of the year the main emphasis in the Band Room is the Area Contest. This Contest takes place in Corby on 25th February.
