1st Kibworth Scouts are inviting everyone to their new grounds on the edge of Warwick Park and adjacent to the new School Road bridge to participate in a special Tree Planting Day. The event is to take place from 10am onwards on Saturday 16 December, weather permitting. Please bring your own gardening tools to help.

Harborough Songbirds Ladies Choir will be performing their Christmas Concert 2024 in the Methodist Church Hall, Northampton Road, Market Harborough on Friday 13 December at 7.30pm. Tickets  (adults £6 each, children free with accompanying adult) are available from committee members, at Louisa’s Place in Market Harborough or via email songbirdsinfo@icloud.com

Roll up! Roll up!! It’s time to get your tickets for our Christmas spectacular, ‘Holly Jolly Saves Christmas!’ This fun show will appeal to all ages, from the very young to the … well, more mature!

We are really pleased to announce that by the time you read this, we will have refurbished the front of our village hall. The wall outside will have been repointed and the drive way laid with resin bound stone. This certainly has smartened everything up and we are delighted with the result.

Our trip to the National Brass Band 1st Section Finals in Cheltenham proved to be a very long day. We had to be there by 1pm for the draw with our section scheduled to start at 2.30pm. The procedure for the draw is akin to that used in the football league. The the programme number is drawn first followed by the position of play.

Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding a table top sale on Saturday 9 November in Kibworth Village Hall, LE8 0LN, from 10am until 12.45pm.

Autumn is a time to take in and appreciate the wonder of our world; the golds, yellows and reds of falling leaves, that special golden light you only seem to find at this time of the year. Furthermore, autumn even has its own distinctive scent of fog and fallen leaves.
