Kibworth & Fleckney Rotary are hosting a fundraising event featuring two musical groups, the Leicester Grammar School Big Band and Youth Brass 2000 in a concert in St Nicholas Hall, Leicester Grammar School, London Road, Great Glen, LE8 9FL on Friday 21 March at 7pm. This year’s Nevill Holt Festival (Friday 30 May - Sunday 22 June) includes ‘Richard E Grant’, ‘An audience with Prue Leith DBE’ and a series of musical concerts entitled ‘Harlem Nights: In the Spirit of Swing,’ as well as’Pam Ayres’ and comedy from ‘Underbelly’s Comedy Allstars’. Also the festival will see the return of some favourites from 2024; ‘Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra’, ‘Aggers & Tuffers: Part 2’ and ‘Jason Byrne.’
Opera North are co-producing ‘Cosi fan tutte’ which promises to whisk you away to the 18th century with dazzling disguises, seductive schemes and lavish costumes.
