The following is inspired by a viral video advert for Charlie’s Bar in Enniskillen 

November and December are proving to be busy months for the Hub, with Mish Mash Markets, the production of For One Night Only, and the Kibworth Band all proving to be very popular. We are also hosting a lot of birthday parties. The Welcome Kitchen is continuing to run on a Monday and, in January we look forward to Last Minute Theatre’s annual pantomime.

We are currently undergoing a revue of our storage space with a view to making better and fairer use of what we have and we will be liaising with our regular users about this soon. We are also hoping to upgrade our kitchen facilities and be able to provide better equipment for functions.

We would like to wish all our users a very Happy Christmas and I would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to our employees, Kelly, Alison and Eric for all their hard work in keeping the hall running.

He was responsible for the creation of the Great Wall of China.

On the 9^th of December, all over the world, people will have been taking to the streets to show the fossil fuel industries and their governments that urgent action really is needed now. 

Things are pretty quiet at the locks now we are into the winter months. Except when the odd bright sunny day brings out the walkers and visitors.

As the festive season of 2023 begins, Harborough Community Safety Partnership, Christmas Presence campaign is here to remind you to keep safe throughout the season.

Whilst snow was all around, certainly not deep, not at all crisp and definitely uneven two members of Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council set about the arduous task of putting up the 45 Christmas trees that will adorn Kibworth High Street this Christmastime. Thank you for doing this, guys.

There is a Swedish campaign to Sāg hej! (‘say hi’) which is helping combatting loneliness

During the last weekend of November and the first weekend of December, MSTC and KTC performed the Playsical ‘For One Night Only’. Written by Ella Wright, who also directed, starred and choreographed the show. She doesn’t get out much! Featuring great show tunes, excellent choreography and, some jaw dropping vocal performances. We certainly kept our audiences entertained and have been very gratified by the wonderful feedback.
