Thank you to the ‘Kibworth & District Chronicle’ for their generous grant. It has enabled us to make improvements to our patio area, and purchase new items such as storage for the children's toys. We are so grateful for this financial help which will benefit our children's groups and community.

June – Our Minister, Rev Andy Murphy, returned refreshed from his 3-month sabbatical, a period granted to ministers every seven years for re-equipping, refreshment, renewal, and study.

Throughout the summer months until the Kibworth and District Chronicle re-appears, Kibworth Methodist Church continues to hold its regular weekly service at 10.30am each Sunday. If you are looking for a new church, or are just visiting the area, why not try us out? You will be made most welcome. But if you find that we are not quite right for you, we will be happy to discuss alternative places of worship in the area.

Our ancient turret clock has recently been returned to the church and is now on display in the north aisle. It dates from 1629 and is a rare example of an oak framed mechanism with the workings made by a blacksmith. It ceased to work as the turret clock in about 1890.

Following the success of the 2024 event, the Leicestershire Historic Churches Trust (LHCT) invites people to join the 2025 Ride+Stride.

Come and relax at a Sunday afternoon concert in the acoustically renowned St Peter’s Church. These are to take place on the last Sunday of the month in June, July, August and September. They will be no longer than 45 minutes, starting at 2pm (except 27 July when it will begin at 1:45pm). Cost is only £5 or £8 with tea/coffee and cake. Pay on the door; however you should reserve tickets for catering purposes.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Spring Fayre on 26 April. An incredible £542 was raised, which will be put towards redecorating the lounge area of the Hall. Our children's groups use this space weekly, and the Youth Group use it on the first Sunday of the month. We plan to completely clear the space and decorate over the summer and would welcome help from anyone who is handy with a paintbrush!
