Concert to Celebrate Queen’s Jubilee

For this special year the Foxton Community Choir will be performing a concert to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

When: Saturday 21 May 2022

Venue: Our wonderful St. Andrew’s Church, Foxton

Rousing Music, Popular Songs & Flag Waving

This major milestone will be celebrated with a programme of rousing choral music. Exciting music reminiscent of the coronation and some of the Queen’s favourite songs from Broadway shows.

You’ll also be reminded of songs from some of our most popular groups. The Beatles and, of course, Queen as well as ‘Sing’ which was specially written for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. There’ll be individual performances of song and monologues. It will of course conclude with a glorious ‘Last Night of the Proms’ finale. Flag waving is mandatory!

It promises to be a splendid and memorable evening with something for everyone.

Your Concert ticket will include cheese and wine and our now famous homemade bakes, all for £10 a ticket (£5 for under 16’s).

Money raised from the Concert will be donated to the repairs needed on Foxton Church roof.
