Kilby get to know your neighbours

Kilby ‘Get To Know Your Neighbours’ held their annual Skittles Night at The Conservative Club in Wigston on Friday 20th February. This year’s winners were Iain Jones for the Mens’ Team and Gill Parsons won on behalf of the Ladies’ Team. A raffle was held and £80 was raised, with the money going to the Kilby Woodland Trust. Thanks go to everyone concerned in organising the teams and to the staff at the Conservative Club for the supper.

Kibworth Community Hub

This will be my last update from KCH, as from 31 March the charity will be dissolved and the lease and running of Kibworth Community Hub will be taken over by Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council. I have been chair on three separate occasions now and, although there have been trials and tribulation on the way, it has never been less than a privilege to serve the village.

Inky Mitch

In our February meeting, professional artist Ian Mitchell, otherwise known as Inky Mitch, entertained Kibworth Art Lovers and visitors with a presentation of his unique style of line and vibrant watercolour. Ian is known in the Knighton and Clarendon Park area of Leicester for his colourful ink drawings of local shops, streets and houses.
