Your local table tennis club; (all welcome – your first session free); has found a temporary home in the main hall at Kibworth Mead Academy because Fleckney Sports Centre is shortly(?) to be demolished and a fancy new building, with three times the space for table tennis, will, in due course, take its place. Our youngest player is eight and the oldest 76. We accommodate absolute beginners coaching them up to League level if they wish. From Wednesday 3 September, coaching, practice and League matches will all be held on Wednesday nights. Beginners are at 7pm and improvers at 7.45pm. Coaching continues until 8.30pm and free play till 10pm.

Here is 10 year old Lydia Rees from Gaulby Lodge Farm who won the Young Handler competition at this year's Blaston Show in June with her lamb called Pretzel, and then went on to win the reserve overall young handler. Here she is looking very proud of her achievement.

Monthly parish council meetings were held on 3June and 5 August at 7pm in the Studio at the Kibworth Community Hub. The meeting on 1July was a walkabout and started at 7pm in Jubilee Green.
