Once again we are looking forward to welcoming you into the calving and lambing sheds at our annual open day. It's on Saturday 25 March at Binleys Bridge Farm, Debdale Lane, Smeeton Westerby, LE8 0QD.  Come down to the farm between 11am – 5pm to see the cows calving and sheep lambing.  We will hopefully have some pigs for you to see too. 

In 1950s London, a widowed cleaning lady falls madly in love with one couture Dior dress. Deciding she must have one of her own, she works to raise the funds to pursue her dream. Embarking on an adventure, to Paris, that will change not only her own outlook but also the very future of the House of Dior.

The parish council monthly public meeting on 24 January was held in the Studio at the Kibworth Grammar School Hall.

Our January meeting was a fine start to the new year, with Alison Orr leading us in a session of Laughter Yoga. From the moment Alison entered the hall and began to chat and laugh with members as they arrived, we sensed that we were in for an enjoyable evening.

Did your children love coming to Sparklers on Fridays? We had so much fun getting to know them and thought it would be great to reconnect. So we're starting a new Christian Youth Group in the Church Hall. The group is for young people who are turning 11 in year 6 up to age 14 years. This will take place once a month on a Sunday evening from 5:30-7:30pm. There will be food, probably pizza!

We know some parents can be curious as to how girls' schools work in practice. Are there more friendship issues? Girls more confident to study with boys when they leave for University? Are girls’ schools just old-fashioned finishing schools? I can reassure you at LHS the answers are No, Yes and most definitely No!

We’re a mixed Community Choir based in Foxton. Whether you’ve been in a choir before or you’re completely new to the idea you’d be most welcome. So why not give us a try?
