Hidden Figures movie is based on the true story of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson, three female African-American mathematicians who played a pivotal role in astronaut John Glenn’s launch into orbit. Meanwhile, they also have to deal with racial and gender discrimination at work.

An evening of cabaret, questions and fun!

Members of the public will have a rare opportunity to visit the oldest mill in Leicestershire. It opens on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May as part of National Mills Weekend. Volunteers will show people around inside and outside the mill, showing the inner workings and marks left by the millers over the last 400 years.
