Over the two days of Thursday 13 and Friday 14 February, Cameron Scott with the help of members of the KH Post Mill volunteers group carried out some remedial work on the mill following the annual inspection.  The Society for the Preservation of Buildings (SPAB) who actually own the building signed off the work which was initially on the brake wheel however other areas were looked at and where necessary maintained.

As editor of this newspaper I have been sent, by email, a copy of this month’s Neighbourhood Link. This is an online newsletter with information about neighbourhood support, neighbourhood watch, and neighbourhood action groups. In the top right hand corner is the Neighbourhood Watch logo.

VASL (Voluntary Action South Leicestershire) is a local charity that helps the lives of people in our community.

By the time that you read this, we will be heading into spring! How wonderful is that?

We are in need of some more volunteers! First we would like a few more folk who can deliver your Kibworth & District Chronicle when the current deliverer is on holiday or ill or unavailable.
