The Kibworth Art Lovers finished their 2022/23 programme in June with a presentation by artist Sue Clegg showing her amazing range of creative art.

As hopefully you have already read, hosting Leicestershire v Essex has been the focus of the committee at KCC and we again thank all volunteers who supported the day from people involved at the club for 50 years, through to those volunteering for the first time. We would also like to thank the wider community and hope there wasn’t too much disruption other than the hundreds of people at the bus stop!

We welcomed Angela from Barn, SpunYarn and Farm, a Crafter’s Journey.

Hello all! It’s quite autumnal as I write this article - did we miss the summer?! Children and students are all back at school and many of us have now returned to the ‘normality’ of work (or retirement, but with fewer grandchildren to occupy, indulge and delight in).

Run Talk Run Kibworth will meet on Monday 25 September at 6:30 pm. Meet near entrance of The Old Grammar School, School Lane, Kibworth Beauchamp, LE8 0JE.

The Band have had a relatively quiet summer but are now back to full practices in preparation for a Proms-style concert at the Old Grammar School, Kibworth in September and the Leicestershire Brass Band Association (LBBA) contest at Loughborough in November.

The 2023 summer outdoor bowling season has absolutely flown by!

Fleckney and Kibworth Running Club have been very busy over the summer with races, events and club runs.

Kibworth Cosmopolitans celebrate competing in its first season in the friendly Market Harborough Rounders League after forming as a new team in spring earlier this year. Based at Birds Barn Kibworth, the Cosmopolitans train every Tuesday evening with matches at the home ground or in Market Harborough.
