This year is Fleckney Village Cricket Club's 50th year, and a lot is going on.

Spring is here, and summer is just around the corner! Now is the perfect time to shake off the winter blues and get back into shape. Whether you’re looking to tone up, build strength, or boost your energy, The Fitness Box has everything you need to reach your fitness goals.

Our short mat indoor bowls season in the clubhouse is ending with some really enjoyable trophy competitions. The pairs league for the Hollingsworth Cup, after some exciting matches with close scores, has already been won by Sylvia Baker and Geoff Lidbetter. The team final for the Morrison Cup has yet to be played, while on Saturday 5 April members will be finally battling it out in a singles competition for the Rose Garden Trophy, which is a full-day event.

We have revised the Kibworth Community Walk.

As winter fades and the first hints of spring fill the air, golf enthusiasts know what that means - it’s time to dust off the clubs, hit the greens, and embrace the fresh new season! Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting out, this is the perfect time to gear up and make the most of everything Kibworth Golf Club has to offer.

The Fleckney Spinners are spinning merrily into the new year with full houses for the coaching evenings on Mondays. 6.45pm beginners, 7.20pm improvers and free play until 9pm.

2025 sees Last Minute Theatre’s Silver Anniversary. We originally trod the boards as a newly formed company in September 2000!

Our 2025 programme began on 9 January with Ginnette Brookes’s talk: ‘Dance is for Everyone’.
