The Glade brings farm-fresh flavours to Kibworth

A new countryside restaurant has opened at Windmill Farm Park in Kibworth Harcourt, offering local residents a new place to enjoy coffee, breakfast and lunch.

The Glade, located at Windmill Farm Park, offers seasonal flavours and quality ingredients in a relaxed setting overlooking the surrounding working farmland. Importantly, The Glade is open to everyone, with no admission to Windmill Farm Park required.

The Glade works with a number of local and carefully selected suppliers, including local butcher Joseph Morris and coffee roasters Jute, alongside loose-leaf teas from Bird & Blend.

Steven Briggs, Owner at Windmill Farm Park, said: “We wanted The Glade to be somewhere that both our Farm Park visitors and the local community could enjoy. It’s all about good food, quality ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere, and we’ve had a fantastic response since opening in July.

“We’re really excited about our menu. You don’t need to be visiting the Farm Park to come along. Whether it’s coffee with friends, breakfast or lunch, everyone is welcome.

“We’re also thrilled to be working with long-time family friends Sarah and Lino Poli, well known locally for their years at Boboli Restaurant and The Lighthouse. Their experience and passion for great food and hospitality has been invaluable in getting The Glade off to such a strong start.”

The Glade is open Thursday to Monday (closed on Tuesday and Wednesday) from 10 am until 3 pm at Windmill Farm Park, Langton Road, Kibworth Harcourt, Leicestershire, LE8 0PR.
