Junior Golf Pathway Tour Proves Huge Success
Kibworth Golf Club welcomed a fantastic turnout on Sunday as young golfers from across the region took part in the first Junior Golf Pathway Tour event of the season. With players, families and organisers all praising the day as a tremendous success.
The event showcased the growing strength of junior golf in the area. With competitors of varying ages and abilities enjoying a well-organised and highly competitive day on the course.
Club officials and volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure the smooth running of the event. Helping create a welcoming atmosphere for players experiencing competitive golf for the first time, as well as more established junior golfers looking to continue their development.
County Junior Organisers Anita Higginson and Mick Billingham said:
“It was wonderful to see so many young golfers enjoying their golf and representing their clubs so positively. The future of the game is clearly very bright.”
Vice Captain’s Competition and Presentation Evening – 30th May
The successful event adds to an exciting period for Kibworth Golf Club. Members are now looking ahead to the forthcoming Vice Captain’s Competition and Presentation Evening taking place on Saturday 30 May.
The event will feature live entertainment from talented singer Findley Webster. Members and guests are expected to enjoy an evening of music, socialising and celebration as the club continues its busy and vibrant season. Hopefully the event will be blessed with favourable weather and our guests can enjoy our beer garden on a lovely summer evening too.
