Dan’s decade at Edmonds and Slater Opticians

During an unusual year, Dan O’Hara, Laboratory Manager at Edmonds & Slatter Opticians, celebrated his 10 years’ service anniversary. 

When Dan first joined the award winning opticians he worked alongside Mr Slatter. Mr Slatter has since retired, leaving the glazing lab in Dan’s more than capable hands.

Dan is a fully qualified SMc tech lab technician and is responsible for constructing all of the well-crafted and intricately glazed spectacle orders for all four of the independents optician’s practices, including Kibworth.

This was one of the few jobs that did not stop during lockdown as people still needed their spectacles.
