A special service to remember, with sadness and thanksgiving, our loved ones who have died. Tea and coffee will be available afterwards, and an opportunity to speak to our Pastoral team. Remembrance Service

Sunday 8 November
St Wilfrid’s Church, Kibworth

We advise that people arrive outside St Wilfrid’s Church at 10.30am to meet the parade. The service will take place inside the church following the laying of wreaths at the war memorial. There will be some seating available with additional standing space. Please go into the church early if you have mobility issues, to ensure that you are able to sit. Collection boxes for the Royal British Legion will be available outside the church and at both entrances.

Please ensure that the road outside of the church is left clear of cars. The road will be closed for the parade to take place safely. Thank you.

St Helen’s Church, Saddington

A short service of Remembrance will begin at 10.45am.
Christ Church, Smeeton Westerby:

The names of the fallen will be read at the 10am Communion Service on Sunday 1 November.

Harvest Thanks

St Wilfrid’s Church, Kibworth, would like to extend a warm “thank you” to everyone who attended our Harvest Service on 4 October, many of whom joined us for a shared breakfast beforehand. We would also like to thank Kibworth Primary School, whose Harvest Service took place in the church on 30 September.

The church was once again beautifully decorated with floral displays, and we are very grateful for the generous contributions of store-cupboard foods which have been passed on to the Food Bank at The Well. Also, for the donations of potted plants and floral displays which have been distributed to the recently bereaved, sick or isolated in our community.

We hope that everyone who attended our harvest service enjoyed their experience; all are welcome at any of our services.

More Information

For more information please visit:

We now have a mobile phone at the Church Office, the number is Tel: 07850 250861. Please store this new mobile number on your contacts and phones.

In due course we will lose the landline number, as BT and Openreach will be permanently switching off traditional analogue copper landlines by the end of January 2027. We will give notice before the landline number finishes.

Christmas Concert 27 November

Finally, we look forward to an evening of Christmas music with Salvo Brass on Friday 27 November at 7.30pm. This is a very popular evening and a perfect start to the festive season, so save the date! More details to follow in the November issue.
