Come Together: Celebrating Kibworth’s Community Spirit
A common purpose, project or sense of unity binds us together. Footballers compete as a team, choirs perform in harmony, parishioners worship collectively and families dine together; such collaboration is fundamental to our humanity.
This edition celebrates several organisations that have collaborated for the benefit of our community.
Our churches have celebrated Harvest Festival and our Scout Groups have completed a community project.
The Well, in partnership with Kibworth Bookshop, is developing an initiative to support local residents during the festive season.
The two parish councils recently collaborated with the newly established Kibworth & District Heritage Society to present a special exhibition marking the 90th anniversary of the construction of Kibworth Beauchamp Grammar School Hall.
Early next month, Kibworth & Fleckney Rotary will join forces with Kibworth Golf Club to host the Kibworth Bonfire, with proceeds directed towards local youth groups.
It is great to see our community ‘come together’ in support of these local events and initiatives.
