Fawlty Towers comes to Kibworth!
Fawlty Towers comes to Kibworth!
Basil Fawlty just wants a quiet life running his hotel in Torquay. Unfortunately, his staff, the visitors and guests all have different ideas about that occurring.
MSTC will be opening the doors of the iconic Fawlty Towers Hotel this coming November. Watch the chaos unfold and Basil slowly unwind as he contends with a guest who is a little hard of hearing, a Public Health Officer and a small, furry rodent, loose on the premises. Add into the mix a dragon of a wife, an inept Spanish waiter and a few loopy regular guests and the chances of Basil actually getting his quiet life are very thin indeed.
The group will be performing two classic episodes; ‘Communication Problems’ and ‘Basil the Rat’ on Friday/Saturday 20, 21, and Friday/Saturday 27, 28 November at Kibworth Community Hub at 7.30pm. Tables will be cabaret style with 6 people at each and there will be a licensed bar offering drinks and other refreshments.
Tickets are £10 and will be available either from The Well in Kibworth or online at www.mstc.uk
